Why prepaid water should be measured in cubic metres
A household thinks in litres. A utility, a valve, and a purchase ledger need a unit that stays accurate as water moves from a token into a pipe. One cubic metre is one thousand litres. Showing credit as 2.384 m³ is the same water, written so a purchase, a meter, and a workshop calibration can agree.
The A-Z prepaid meter keeps that credit as a whole number of microlitres and displays it as cubic metres. That avoids the slow drift that appears when money and volume are stored as loose decimal numbers.
Customers still buy a simple amount. The meter does the precise work: add the purchased volume, measure what flows, and close the valve when credit is finished.
